SOLD * Memory Bowl c1940

SOLD * A yellowware collared bowl dating to c1900-20, a collage of mementos of a loved one. Tight pattern of turquoise glass beads surround the rim, with loops of round beads set below. Overall ~ glass buttons & beads, clay beads, early plastic buttons, flowers, abstract forms and geometric forms, rhinestones, pastes & light metals, bits and pieces of costume jewelry. The collared lip and the impressed mark on the bottom of the bowl give the bowl itself a probable date as c1900. Judging from the items mounted, the bowl became a memory bowl c1930s. All in pretty grand condition. A hefty, substantial piece. Dimensions: 9" diameter at the top; 5" high.
