Georgian 14kt Gold Pearl and Taille d'Epargne Brooch

A magnificent brooch of 14kt yellow gold, this piece dates to the late Georgian/early Victorian eras.  In beautiful condition. Taille d'epargne decoration with black enamel set within narrow grooves on the center block of gold, seed pearls set within three levels of bezels on either side. Three finials dangle from a chain garland spanning the width of the brooch.  At back, the original c-clasp.  In beautiful condition, with a rich patina, pearls witih soft white skins and unblemished enamel in the narrow taille d'epargne grooves.  1 1/8" wide; bar is 3/4" tall including the fleur de lis crown. Finial pendants are 1 3/8" long, making the brooch 1 3/4" long.
