Child's Carriage Booties, Victorian Periodc1880

A tot's antique carriage boots made from moss green silk velvet cut in a striped pattern, bound in silk and embellished with silk ribbon ties on the sides, braided silk cord with tassels and acorn drops in front. Fleeced linings and leather soles for warmth and comfort. Dating to circa 1880, and in good condition. There is some wear to the binding along the edge and the silk ties. Missing one tie. There's a soft, even fade in color overall. These little shoes are wearable and the ties easy to replace.  4 1/2-inches outside heel-to-toe and 1 5/8-inches wide outside.
