Made for a gentleman’s pocket or a lady’s reticule, this tiny coin purse stands only 1” high and has the diameter of about 7/8”. It is made of brass or brass covered metal. The body is covered in genuine leather. The top pushes down to install your coins. There is a handle along the side from which you might care to suspend the piece from a ribbon or cord. 19th century.
