It's huge, it's heavy and it's as rare as the teeth of a hen. This is a mighty ice tea dispenser, once used on the counter of a cafe or diner in upstate NY. It is of good, thick, dependable restaurant / hotel type pottery with brown slip glaze. There is a metal spigot. The words ICE TEA are embossed on the front. On the bottom, words we can trust: MADE IN U.S.A.
In very fine condition, with one small chip out of the inside rim of the lid, not visible from the exterior, and a couple of dings or pings, nothing that would interfere with the wonderful dispenser's history and desirability. 11" tall X 15" handle to end of spigot X 11 1/2" back to front. The dispenser weighs 9 1/2" empty and unpacked. It is really a marvelous piece of diner history. Want more pictures? Just email and we'll be happy to oblige.
