A terrific chicken pot holder made of terrific barkcloth in terrific colors.  We love the look.  This pre-Retro chicken was made c1930s to hold hot pots and hot pans and hot potatoes and hot anything else.  There are three things that make this pot holder special to us ~ (1) the wonderful print in grays and pink and cream, of Victorian children at play (they're playing an old Indian game with an arrow, a string and a ball ~ use your imaginations, please) along with the wild posy barkcloth inside) (2) the grosgrain ribbon ties on the exterior and (3) the cock's comb and felt beak.  Oh, and we can't forget that rayon ribbon loop chicken tail!  Cute!  About 8" long, 4 1/2" wide.  And in such strong, good condition, you can use it just as often as you like!
