From the 1920s, this unfinished apron was offered to women to complete at home. The manufacturer details are printed in the cut-out section of the yoke. Hand-embroidery has been completed; edge finishing has not.
The embroidery is in a fluid elongated floral, a smart Deco design for the stylish 20s housewife. The large flower at the right side covers a secret patch pocket. Apron drops about 40" from shoulder to unfinished hem; hip 34"; waist as it is 35". Neck ties are each 18 /2" long and they are wide.
This is one of the best examples of early 20th century domestics' manufacture we've had in almost 30 years in business. In very good condition, with a few small scattered dots from age / storage and a very few, minor rust marks. We have made no attempt to clean the apron. The embroidery floss has kept its lively original colors.
