Miss Hattie Harvey, a stage actress who became famous not so much for her talent, but for her infatuation with a certain British actor in her troupe. In fact, she was known at the time as "Miss Infatuation", and the New York Times published an article about her, stressing the to-do's at the Grand Hotel caused by her crush on the actor and her parents' extreme disapproval.
This is a lovely cabinet card in good condition, with only a few smudge marks near Miss Harvey's derriere, visible in our photo. Someone familiar with the upkeep of these cards could possibly do something about the smudge, but it is really not that serious. The image of Hattie herself is clear as a bell and untouched. The cabinet card is signed Falk, 949 Broadway, N.Y., stamped on in red ink. The back is blank. 6 1/2" X 4 1/4"
