A fabulous pair of Period Art Deco cuff links, dating to c1920. Made of sterling silver, their sleek oval faces are engraved with serene Oriental landscapes and decorated with solid 14kt rose gold detail. The composition on each link face has a golden temple in the foreground, a golden boulder glimmering across the water, all under a full moon. These links are exemplary of the Jazz Age fascination with Oriental motifs and accessories.
Hallmarked for 14kt and for silver. Each cuff link face measures 13/16" x 1/2" across. Total weight of 7.4 grams. In overall excellent condition with some light general surface wear consistent with age and normal use. A gentle polish will bring them back to their original gleam and luster.
